Wood Sheds
Wood Sheds are considered the most attractive and the most customizable, and tend to be more durable and cost more than plastic sheds. You can add in shelves or hooks with relative ease. Unlike plastic sheds, Wood Sheds do require some maintenance, typically it needs to be painted or varnished every once in a while, but this only needs to be re-done after a number of years. Depending on size, Wood Sheds can be installed in just a few days!
Plastic Sheds
A type of plastic shed, Vinyl Sheds are typically durable and sturdy with low-to-no maintenance, just simply use a pressure washer, hose, or bucket of warm soapy water to remove dirt from the exterior of your shed. They are UV-resistant and are weather-resistant yet, light and easy to move. They require a level or concrete base and are built for tough outdoor use. Vinyl Sheds aren’t designed for customization and do not need to be painted. Built-in air vents and ducts in the eaves of plastic sheds maintain airflow and regulate temperature. Vinyl plastic is thick and provides insulation that adds a condensation barrier. Vinyl Sheds are easy to assemble and can be completed within a few hours!
Also a type of plastic shed, Resin Sheds never have to be painted, sanded, or treated with insect repellent. They are incredibly durable, but they are not as strong as metal or wooden sheds. They are easy to move and transport as they generally weigh less than their metal or wood counterparts. Resin Sheds also aren’t designed for customization and do not need to be painted. Like Vinyl Sheds, Resin Sheds cannot bear as much weight on their walls as a wooden shed, limiting the amount of shelves or hooks you can add on. They are also easy to assemble and can be completed within a few hours!
